Almost half of patients with skin disease suffer from sleep disturbances, global study finds
A global study presented today at the #EADVCongress shows that almost half of patients with skin disease suffer from sleep disturbances.
The ALL PROJECT, a comprehensive international research initiative, analysed over 50,000 adults across 20 countries to assess the impact of skin diseases. This is the first study to uncover the profound impact of sleep disturbances on the physical functioning of patients with skin disease, highlighting the broader implications on their quality of life.
The study also investigated the impact of living with hidradenitis suppurativa and the associated feeling of stigmatisation.
